Room information

All 15 one-room flats (for a maximum of 4 people per room) are fitted with modern furniture and furnishings. One of the rooms is a junior suite and another is equipped for disabled guests.

Food & beverage

The residence features an elegant Wine Bar Bistro, which overlooks the garden, where you can enjoy of a welcome drink or a quick snack. Several restaurants are situated a within a few meters of the residence. We have aggreements with some hotels, so our customers can get discount for dinner (meat and fish meals for around 15 euro) and lunch.

Area information

The town of Bagheria is located in the charming valley of Palermo city, between the 2 gulfs of Palermo and Termini Imerese. It is approximately 13 km from Palermo and 85 metres above the Tyrrhenian sea level. Bagheria is well-known for its 18th century buildings and opulent aristocratic villas in a Baroque style and its villas built in the 17th century by the nobility of Palermo as holiday homes. Unfortunately, not all the villas can be visited, just the famous villa Palagonia and villa Cattolica.

By Train: From the train station of Bagheria, (300 metres) follow the signs to Aspra, Villa Scaduto Residence. From the main railway station or port of Palermo (10 km), take the state road S.S.113 to Messina, follow the signs to Aspra, Villa Scaduto Residence. By Plane: From the Punta Raisi Falcone-Borsellino airport (44 km), take the motorway to Palermo-Catania-Messina, exit at Bagheria and follow the signs to Aspra, Villa Scaduto Residence. By Car: From the state road S.S.113 Palermo/Messina/Catania, turn towards Aspra and follow the signs to Villa Scaduto Residence.

Quick description

Set in the peaceful town of Aspra, a typical Mediterranean fishing village, this former noble villa was originally built by the Scaduto family before becoming a 4-star residence. The residence is an ideal location for a relaxing vacation: just 10 km away from Palermo and a short walk from Bagheria, a town famous for its many Baroque style villas. In Bagheria you can also visit Villa Palagonia, renowned for its marble work, curved façades and complex external staircase. On the ground floor you will enjoy the wine bar and bistro, which offers tables in the hotel garden and where you can sample a welcome drink or a quick snack. Villa Scaduto Residence received the Italian Hospitality Award from the Italian Chamber of Commerce and is suitable for either business or holidays.

Area information

The surrounding area features beaches and secluded coves along the coast as well as restaurants, pizzerias, pubs and ice-cream parlours, not to mention the numerous festivals and entertainments during the long Summer evenings. Aspra lies just beside Bagheria, a town famous for its eighteenth century villas such as Villa Palagonia or “The Villa of the Monsters”, Villa Valguarnera and the Villa Cattolica, which hosts the Renato Guttuso Gallery of Modern Art. Palermo, Monreale, Cefalù and all the other regions of Sicily are accessible by the main road along the coast, by motorway or by railway. The historic centre of Palermo is a must-see: it is a journey through time among monuments left by the Phoenicians, Byzantines, Arabs, Normans and Spanish where each culture influenced the next. Smart shops and open air markets offer unlimited shopping opportunities.

By Car: From Palermo Punta Raisi (Falcone-Borsellino) Airport (55 km): - Take the motorway towards Palermo–Catania–Messina. - Exit the Catania–Palermo motorway at Bagheria. - Turn left immediately and follow the signs for Aspra, then Aspra Mare. From the Port of Palermo (14 km): - Take the SS113 main road towards Messina. - When you reach Bagheria, take the the turning towards Aspra (level crossing on the right). - Follow the signs for Aspra Mare. By Train: Aspra Mare provides an on-request shuttle service from Bagheria train station (2km).
