Surrounded by greenery, this lovingly run family hotel is located at 920 metres above sea level, only a 3-minute walk from Bad Bleiberg’s thermal spa. Spa facilities at Hotel Vital include a wood-fired sauna, an infrared cabin, a relaxation oasis with solarium, a gym, a Kneipp track and massages. For smaller guests, a playground, an Indian wigwam and a sandpit are available in the natural garden. Hotel Vital also has an illuminated curling lane and a bowling lane. The swimming beach at Lake Ossiach can be used free of charge. Guided hikes are organised on a regular basis.

Area information

Bad Bleiberg offers a wide range of sports and leisure options in every season. In summer the Dobratsch Nature Reserve is ideally suited for hiking and mountain biking, and many sports such as tennis and miniature golf are also available. In winter there is skiing, cross-country skiing (free ski rental), tobogganing on the illuminated run (free toboggan available at the hotel), ice skating and much more.

15 km west of Villach lies Bad Bleiberg, Austria’s southernmost thermal bath, with a mining experience unique in all of Europe - Terra Mystica, the point of intersection of 3 distinct cultures. Within a 20-km radius are 3 lakes: Lake Faak, Lake Wörth and Lake Ossiach. From the Dobratsch mountain, you can see as fae as Slovenia and Italy. In 40 minutes you can reach Carinthia's capital city of Klagenfurt, the Weissensee lake, the ski areas of Nassfeld and Bad Kleinkirchheim, and many cultural sights such as Gurk Cathedral. Also, it only takes about 2 hours to get to Salzburg, Graz or Trieste, and about 2 ½ hours to Venice.

The non-smoking Gartenpension Lindenbauer emphasizes hospitality, a family atmosphere and personal service. Surrounded by flowering gardens and meadows, the newly renovated house is centrally situated between the town centre, the spa and the healing climate gallery. It is easily reachable on level ground. Relax in the large garden with its many quiet places and enjoy the nature, or make excursions to the beautiful surrounding area, where Austria, Italy and Slovenia meet.
